Artist Penelope Wood combines her love of nature's grace and fluidity with tribal and Japanese influence to create unique art sculptures.

These stylized interpretations of birds, fish and flora reflect translucent qualities and create a sense of rhythm as they leap from pedestals or grace tall walls. Inspired by nature's classic curves and warm earth tones these works create a feeling of freedom and gentle grace.

Art sculptures vary in size from birds or fish on pedestals to wall mounted Longfish or  Birds of Flight over a metre in width or height. Similar to relief sculptures, these works are designed to display against the simplicity of a wall or near light to enhance colours and translucent qualities.
